Members of the Community and Non-Degree Students: Members of the community may take the courses as non degree-seeking students or may audit the courses. They may also take Judaic Studies courses for a Certificate.

Tuition Fee Waivers for Senior Citizens: Persons 60 years of age or older, who meet Florida residency requirements, may register for credit classes without payment. Simplified registration forms are available for non degree-seeking students.

UCF Judaic Library: The Judaic Studies Program and UCF Library are building up the Judaic collection. Book and periodical gifts by the Holocaust Memorial Resource and Educational Center, the Jewish Chautauqua Society, Rabbi Morris Goldfarb, Dr. Martha Williamson, the Bachrach family of New York, and Rabbi Aharon Opher of Sarasota through his grandson, Dr. Gideon Maschler, helped us enrich our collection. The Littauer Foundation has established a $10,000 book endowment fund for acquisition of Judaic books to UCF library.

Spiritual Activities: Area synagogues and temples welcome students for High Holy Days, holidays and festivals, and regular Sabbath services. Some High Holy Days services are conducted on campus through Hillel/the Jewish Student Union. The Jewish Community Center and the Holocaust Memorial Resource and Education Center in Maitland and local synagogues open their activities to UCF students. Rabbinical and spiritual assistance is provided through area congregations.

Friends of Judaic Studies: To support its educational and cultural outreach programs, Friends of Judaic Studies was formed by various individuals who helped set up the program. Through their generous contributions and the annual gifts of several foundations and many private individuals, the program continues to grow.
